Artist's Comments

This little guy was some time in coming. I had the legs welded to the basic body for about three months. He just sat on a shelf waiting for me to finish him. I got bored tonight, so I decided to take a shot at it. This is the result. The body is a piece of two inch automotive exhaust pipe. The legs are 3/4" bar stock. The arms are 1/2" hex stock. The head and chest emblem are welded from gears removed from an old cash register. The flag is 1/8" bar stock and an old cutting wheel. The feet and shield are cut from an old CD-ROM body.

Thanks. I do have to run him through the wire wheel a few more times. need a good design for the shield as well......

you could cut out a copper pheonix and rivet it to the shield? just a thought any way hes really cool and his flag seems slightly more axe like ^^
