Catch a star by photozz Catch a star by photozz
Totaly inspired by this print [link] from ketchup-suicide. All bar stock except the base, which is 1/8th inch plate bent into a curve. went together prety easy, and overall, I'm happy. Need to figure out a way to gracefuly hang more stars from the top.

EDIT: uploaded much better picture.

get some thin wire, something like memory wire that won't bend under the stars weight to much.

This is beautiful, so simple and expressive, with the purity of the metal preserved. Wow!

I like this a bit more than what inspired it.

Wow. Thats awesome.
Im thinking thin piece of metal, perhaps thinner than what the Star-Catching basket is using, for the Stars. And flat plate in the shape of Stars? :)

Yeah, the stars themselves are no problem, it's more finding an elegant way to suspend them.

Perhaps....Maybe a thin Border, almost like it were a picture frame made of thin metal for the scene? Then suspend the stars with clear fishing line wire?
